The suspension bridge between the communities of Dietmannsried and Altusried is not only a new connection for the two villages, but also an important part of the Oberallgäu circular hiking trail and the Jakobus pilgrimage route. The bridge, which is very popular with cyclists and pedestrians, offers a magnificent view of the picturesque landscape around the Iller.

The blue bridge catwalk is 1.5 meters wide and has a span of 84.5 meters. The construction cost a total of 200,000 euros and around 1,200 working hours were invested in voluntary work. The suspension bridge was inaugurated in August 2007 and has since become an important focal point for tourists and hikers in the region.
