A special mid-highlight awaits visitors at Lautrach Castle: On Sunday, June 15, 2025, the castle invites you to the midissage of the exhibition "Elemental Works – Pictures from Rust and Copper Oxide". An inspiring afternoon centered around the art of Tony Reason, who creates fascinating surfaces and color shades using metal oxides like rust and copper.

The midissage begins at 3:00 PM with a festive sparkling wine reception in the historic rooms of the castle. This is followed by a guided tour through the exhibition – with the opportunity for direct exchange with the artist. In an open discussion round, Tony Reason provides exciting insights into his working method, where controlled process and controlled chance go hand in hand.

The exhibition "Elemental Works" presents abstract works created through chemical reactions and reflects on themes such as time, transformation, and transience. The works invite viewers to take a closer look – and to be touched by the aesthetics of the unpredictable.

Tony Reason, born in 1956 in Hastings (UK), has lived and worked in the Allgäu region for over 20 years. His works have been exhibited internationally and are part of significant collections. The exhibition in Lautrach is his most comprehensive presentation in the region to date.

Date: Sunday, June 15, 2025 – Start: 3:00 PM
Location: Lautrach Castle, Historic Rooms, Schlossstraße 1, 87763 Lautrach
Admission: Free

The exhibition remains open daily until September 13, 2025.
